Daniel 2:28

But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days.
Daniel 2:28a

For someone who did as many incredible things as Daniel did, he still always retained his humility. Nebuchadnezzar wanted his dreams interpreted and called in all manner of charlatan to do so. When they were unable to tell him what he dreamed, Nebuchadnezzar was going to have all the wise men of Babylon destroyed. Daniel heard of the king's predicament from one of Nebuchadnezzar's captains and asked for a chance to interpret the dreams.

Once he was able to tell the king what he dreamed and what it meant, Daniel first praised God for revealing the secrets to him. How many times have we bragged about something we accomplished, when it’s not us at all, but the Lord? We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, that’s true, but God should receive all the glory for doing so. May we have the heart of Daniel and always give our Savior the glory.

Praising my Glorious Lord,

Pastor Ron Kitchell
