Isaiah 43:19

Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19

I am a tech guy. I love new little gadgets and games. If there is something new coming out, I am reading about it all the time and trying to take in as much information as I can. At the same time, I really enjoy the same old routine of things in life. It is comfortable and familiar.

As I get older, I realize that I can be stuck in my ways and not listen to the Lord when He is doing a new work and that isn't a good thing. We must always stay open and celebrate when we watch the Lord doing a new work in the lives of others around us, and in the generations that follow behind us, because it means the Lord is still working. What new work do you see the Lord doing around you this day? Look for those things even if they make you uncomfortable or seem unfamiliar and rejoice that the Lord continues working and reaching others.

Resting in Him,

Pastor Sean Boehm
