2 Chronicles 31:20-21

Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.
2 Chronicles 31:20-21

Do you want to know the not-so-secret sauce to the successful Christian life? Look no further than these verses on Hezekiah. Hezekiah was the son of Ahaz, an extremely wicked king. When Hezekiah became king, the nation of Judah was worshiping many gods and doing evil in the sight of the Lord. The odds were stacked against him to bring forth any revival. Despite that, Hezekiah prospered in the Lord and led a revival in his nation.

How did he overcome the odds? In everything he did, he sought the Lord and followed through with all his heart. You can't get by doing things half-heartedly. If you want to prosper in your life, follow Hezekiah's example. Seek the Lord in everything that you do and do it with all your heart. Seek, do, and repeat!

For the King,

Daniel Batistelli
