Psalm 71:15

My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And Your salvation all the day, For I do not know their limits.
Psalm 71:15

This psalm is written by David in his old age looking back over God's goodness and the lessons he learned. He asks God to not allow him to fade out but rather go forward in strength to finish well. One verse that caught my attention is the one listed above where David determines he will speak daily of God's provided salvation to anyone that would listen. His assurance of success and fruit is found in the last part of the verse: for I do not know their limits. David declared he could never limit God by concluding that someone was out of reach of His Spirit. I do not know the limits of Your power and ability, he cries out, and so even when it is beyond me, it is never beyond You! Know that today and make this a memory verse for yourself. We also do not know the limits of God's power and so we can trust in Him for and in everything!

Serving a God greater than my understanding,

Pastor Jack Abeelen
