John 2:14-15

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers' money and overturned the tables.
John 2:14-15

Jesus did what? I thought He was supposed to be meek and mild? But imagine the scene. Jesus comes to the temple at Passover and instead of prayer, there's a swap meet in the Gentile part of the temple. How are you supposed to pray and worship the Lord when people are selling you stuff? Jesus saw all that was going on and took time to make a whip. Then He drove everyone out. The whip doesn't mean He was using violence, but authority. He was cleansing the temple.

What an amazing picture, isn't it? He does that with us. He comes into our lives, sees all the junk and slowly starts making a whip. He then uses His authority to drive it all out. He takes out all the junk that doesn't belong there and makes us clean and makes us a temple to worship the Lord.
