1 Peter 3:1-2

1 Peter 3:1-2

Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.

1 Peter 3:1-2

“Actions speak louder than words.” That’s a quote we hear often but usually snuff off. In the verses above, Peter is giving an exhortation to wives that we can all pay attention to. He emphasizes the transformative power of godly conduct, especially in challenging relationships.

People, especially those close to us, often want to see what we believe before they are ready to hear what we believe. Are there areas in our lives where we might be relying too heavily on verbal persuasion rather than exemplifying Christ-like behavior. It’s often our quiet, consistent faith that touches hearts most profoundly. How can you let your conduct shine today in a way that glorifies God and potentially influences others towards Him?
