1 Timothy 6:1-2
Let as many bondservants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and His doctrine may not be blasphemed. And those who have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brethren, but rather serve them because those who are benefited are believers and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.
1 Timothy 6:1-2
God is very interested in the influence His people have upon the world in which they live. One area where we can accomplish His desire to shine is at work. The way we go about performing our responsibilities leaves a great impression upon our superiors, especially those who do not yet know the Lord we love. Words whisper, works shout!
Those who know you are a believer will watch you more closely to see how your faith matters. So honor those over you with honesty, integrity, and hard work. Be one who can be trusted, walks in love, and selflessly serves others. If your boss happens to also be a believer, do not seek to take advantage of that when it comes to working. Serve the Lord and may He be seen in how you do what you do!
A witness on the job!
