2 Corinthians 12:9-10

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore, I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

In feeding the 5,000, the breaking of the loaves before distribution reminds us that often our greatest impact comes through our brokenness. Paul learned that God’s power is perfected in weakness. Elizabeth Elliot’s quote, “If my life is broken when given to Jesus, it may be because pieces will feed a multitude,” beautifully captures this truth.

So, what are the broken areas of your life? Instead of hiding them or being ashamed, how might you offer them to God for His use? Ask God to help you see your weaknesses and struggles not as hindrances, but as potential channels for His grace to flow to others. Trust that as you surrender your brokenness to Him, He can use it to nourish and bless many.
