2 Corinthians 5:17-19

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19

What America needs more today than ever before is to be revolutionized by the old gospel because it’s the old gospel that creates a new man. Just as new wine requires new wineskins, our new life in Christ requires a new nature. When we come to faith, we become new creations. The old has gone, the new has come! This transformation isn’t just a one-time event, but an ongoing, lifetime process. 

How have you seen God changing you since you became a believer? Because you’re not working for salvation, you’re working from a place of salvation. Even more important, you’re not working for your salvation, you’re working out your salvation. Day by day we grow in our faith and stronger in our walks with the Lord, standing on the firm footing of our salvation which He has bought.
