2 Corinthians 7:10

Repentance was a cornerstone of Jesus’ message. It’s not just about feeling sorry but about changing our minds and aligning our thoughts with God’s. It’s doing an about-face from our sin to the cleansing arms of God’s forgiveness. 

We would do best to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas in our life that need repentance. Are there attitudes, habits, or beliefs that don’t align with God’s truth? Embrace the hope that comes with repentance – it’s an opportunity for renewal and drawing closer to God. Confession is important but repentance will prove to our own hearts that we are walking toward Jesus, not away from Him.
