2 Peter 1:1-2

2 Peter 1:1-2

Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord

2 Peter 1:1-2

As we begin this journey through 2 Peter, you immediately come face-to-face with the incredible power of God’s grace in our lives. As an example, Peter, once impetuous and self-confident, was transformed by God’s grace into a humble servant. So if we too have “obtained like precious faith” through the righteousness of Jesus Christ, how does that affect our daily lives?

What kind of differences has God’s grace made in your life? Where have you seen His transformative power? How has His undeserved favor changed your heart and actions? Remember, it’s not about our own strength, but about yielding to His grace. As you go through your day, consciously rely on God’s grace in every situation, knowing that it is “multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”
