Why should we believe the Bible? What makes that book more important than any other? When I was an atheist some 30 years ago, I read the Bible from front-to-back and though there was much I didn’t understand, I couldn’t deny it couldn’t have been written solely by man. This 2000-year-old book seemed to be too accurate about modern issues and what was in my heart. So after reading the Bible, I gave my life to Jesus and have been following Him since.

It turns out here in 2 Peter, it tells us why the Bible still speaks to all men. The Holy Spirit guided the writers to put down exactly what God wanted to say. It didn’t come by man’s will, but by God’s. There is no other “holy” book like the Bible. 

That’s why it important to open the Bible daily and let God speak to you. Why would you not to hear from the Lord every day when He’s just waiting to talk to you?
