2 Timothy 2:4
No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.
2 Timothy 2:4
A good soldier knows there is a fight coming and he prepares himself. He knows he has enemies and he makes himself ready.
The affairs of this life are numerous. They can weigh us down and keep us from being effective soldiers. They can completely stop us at times from ever moving forward in our faith and leading others to the Gospel.
If we are to be ready and prepared we have to be careful with the affairs of this life that are a snare for us.
