2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
For every church the importance of teaching God’s Word, as Jesus consistently did, cannot be over emphasized. The focus of Jesus’ ministry remained the teaching of the truths of the kingdom of God. Scripture has the power to equip, correct, and transform us. How central is Bible study and teaching to your spiritual growth? It is quite simply and profoundly God’s word to us. A child can understand it, and a scholar can drown in it.
So what is your current association with God’s Word? Are you allowing it to shape your thinking and actions? Does it drive your life and regulate your decisions? Commit to a specific way you’ll prioritize Scripture in your life, whether it’s more consistent reading, memorization, or applying it to a particular area of struggle. You will quickly become and man or woman of the Word.
