Hebrews 11:30

By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.

Hebrews 11:30 

The Israelite army responded to God’s command to march around the walls of Jericho because of faith. It wasn’t military wisdom, logical thinking, or efficient use of time and resources, it was faith. Faith in God that He would bring the walls down. So, they marched for seven days. 

Sometimes God is calling us to do things that do not make sense logically. Whether it be working less so we can serve God more, getting up early to read God’s Word when all you want to do is sleep, or loving and praying for our enemies like Jesus says in Matthew 5. We respond to God in faith. 

Whatever God is calling you to do today, remember we serve an amazing God who will always do what He says He will do.
