Proverbs 4:7

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom.  And in all your getting, get understanding.

Proverbs 4:7

In the above verse, Solomon directs his son to what is important and says, “Now look young man, wisdom is the principal thing. So get wisdom. And with all of your getting get understanding.”   In other words, don’t just know it, ”live it!”

The thing is, we can read the scriptures each and every day, but if we don’t apply it to our lives, we are not living wisely.  We all have decisions and choices to make each and every day.  And the choices we make not only affect our lives, but the lives of those around us.  So like Solomon encouraged his son, let’s be wise, get understanding, and live our lives for the Lord!
