Psalm 94:19

In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.

I know this is probably a dumb question but have you experienced any stress lately?  It almost seems to be a way of life, doesn’t it?  The bills are due, the boss is on your case, and the kids are running in four different directions.  

The Psalmist gives us an interesting perspective.  In spite of the stress that’s churning inside of us, there is something much greater that dwells within the deep recesses of our heart.  It’s God’s presence and the comfort that He gives in the middle of our circumstances.  We can delight is the promise that He is always there, not to take us out of the trial but to see us through it.  And He’ll give us great comfort even when our anxieties hit multiple levels.
