Galatians 6:2

 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2

            There is a trend in the Christian church called “deconstruction.” People who grew up in the church will analyze every aspect of their Christian life, breaking it apart piece by piece and tend to leave the church. Sometimes they leave the faith altogether while some just leave the church and say things like “You don’t need the building to have faith in Jesus.” 

            Yet this verse shows the importance of being in church. We’re not just there to hear God’s word taught, but to be there for one another. Burdens carried on our own are heavy, but if we help each other with them, they become lighter. 

            Christians need to be there for one another. We’re not meant to carry through life on our own. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” When you go to church this week, look for someone you can help out.
