Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
The great value of reading Proverbs each day is the simple yet profound wisdom that God makes available to us to guide our steps. Our verses today are no exception. The word trust expresses conviction and confidence. Solomon wanted his son to come to trust the Lord with all his heart. Though pride and self-will will have me leaning on my own resources, believing what God has shown me about my sinfulness and need for His will drive me to trust in His care, provision, and power. That understanding brings me constantly to seek His ways in all areas of my life.
What does His Word say, what would He have me do? So, as I seek Him, His promise is to direct my path, lead me, and guide me into the ways of life. Trust Him, lean into Him, acknowledge Him, and He will lead you daily. Love it.
Seeking to walk in His ways,
