Revelation 5:6

And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

Revelation chapters 4 and 5 give pictures of Heaven. We’re going to see Jesus there as the Lamb that was slain, and He’s still going to have His marks from His crucifixion. When we’re in Heaven, we’ll be constantly reminded of why we made it there because we’re going to see Jesus’ scars right in front of us all the time.

We can’t make it to Heaven on our own good works because we don’t have any. Our righteousness is like filthy rags. We’re going to make it because of Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice. Though He was sinless, He took the punishment for us.

Thanks for Your sacrifice, Jesus!
