Ephesians 4:22-24

“That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”

Our lives should be so marked by change after our salvation, so much so that it’s like two different people. An old man and a new man. The old man, the person who we were before Christ came into our lives, should be left behind, along with old habits, thoughts, and actions. And through the renewing of the spirit of our minds, we should be a new man, or woman, in Christ.

We should be marked by righteousness and holiness. We should be noticeably different. And this process should continue year after year and day after day. And we should be able to look back and see how different we are in Christ.
