Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness

Ephesians 6:14 

 Truth is foundational in our spiritual armor.  Standing firm on God’s truth is crucial in a world of relativism and deception. Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Consider how God’s truth has set you free in your life. Are there areas where you’re still believing lies? Alongside truth, we’re called to put on the breastplate of righteousness. 

This isn’t our righteousness, but Christ’s imputed righteousness. Meditate on the incredible reality that in Christ, you are declared righteous. How does this truth impact your daily life and your approach to spiritual warfare? 

Today, commit to saturating your mind with God’s truth and living in the light of His righteousness.
