Galatians 5:1, 13-15

Galatians 5:1, 13-15

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

Galatians 5:1, 13-15

Jesus has set us free, but with this freedom comes responsibility. We’re called to use our liberty not as an excuse for self-indulgence, but as an opportunity to serve one another in love. Reflect on how you’re using your freedom in Christ. Are there areas where you’ve slipped into legalism or, conversely, into license? Remember, true freedom is found in submission to God and in loving service to others.

Today, look for a practical way to use your freedom to bless someone else, embodying the servant heart of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
