Truth is foundational in our spiritual armor. In a world of relativism and deception, standing firm on God’s truth is crucial. Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). It’s spiritually healthy to reflect on how God’s truth has set us free. But what about those deep recesses in our hearts where we are still believing lies?

Well, the next piece of spiritual armor gives us a solid truth we can stand on.  We’re called to put on the breastplate of righteousness. This isn’t our own righteousness, but Christ’s imputed righteousness. Take a minute to meditate on the incredible reality that in Christ, you are declared righteous. How does this truth impact your daily life and your approach to spiritual warfare? Today, commit to saturating your mind with God’s truth and living in the light of His provided righteousness.
