1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Have you ever thought about what real, unconditional love does for ourselves and those around us? Peter’s transformation from an impulsive fisherman to a pillar of the early church wasn’t rooted in his own strength or determination. It was founded on his first-hand experience of Christ’s unfailing love – a love that pursued him even after his denials, a love that restored and recommissioned him.
This same unconditional love empowers us to stand firm in faith and to serve others sacrificially. How have you experienced God’s persistent love in your own life, especially in times of failure or weakness. His love is relentless isn’t it. So, let these verses today give you a deeper understanding of His love and let that love compel you to take a step of faith or extend grace to someone else, just as He has done for you.
