In a world obsessed with external appearances, God values the “hidden person of the heart.” Proverbs 31:10-31 describes a woman of noble character, emphasizing her inner qualities. She works both in and out of her home to bring blessing to her family. And they in turn bring appreciation, gratitude and praise to her.

Think about some of the attributes that truly matter to God – gentleness, quietness of spirit, and faith. How can we all cultivate these qualities in our own lives? Are we guilty of focusing too much on outward adornment at the expense of inner beauty. Ask God to forgive and help you develop a character that is “precious in His sight.”
