Colossians 3:23-24

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

True service flows from a heart devoted to Christ. It’s not about doing more but about abiding more deeply in Him. We all need to take a serious moment to reflect on what motivates us to serve Him. Are we serving out of duty or devotion? Because true service is the overflow of super abounding devotion.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you’re striving in your own strength rather than relying on Christ’s power. And rather than ploughing forward, take a breather; let go and let God. Spend time at is feet. Pray for a renewed passion for Jesus that overflows into joyful, Spirit-led service. You’ll never regret it.
