Ephesians 5:15-17

Ephesians 5:15-17

See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:15-17

How often have you heard someone say, “I wish I had more time?”  Time is a precious gift from God, and we’re called to use it wisely. Whenever time or our lifespan is referred to in the Bible, it’s pictured as something extremely quick. Paul urges us to “redeem the time, because the days are evil.” So how are you currently spending your time? What occupies your day? What things tend to busy your life?

Are there areas where you’re still living according to worldly patterns rather than God’s will? Take a moment to pray for discernment in understanding God’s will for your life. Make a commitment today to “cast off the works of darkness” and “put on the armor of light,” living each moment with intentionality and purpose for God’s kingdom.
