Ephesians 4:31-32

Ephesians 4:31-32

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Ephesians 4:31-32

Godliness and kindness really go hand-in hand, and they become the hallmarks of a mature Christian. It’s hard to be unkind when your focus is on being Christ-like. So, what does it mean to be “god-like” in your daily life? We need to be willing to do what Jesus did and walk in His steps. That’s why reading and knowing the Gospels is so important.

Once you have the blueprint of the life of Jesus, how can you then reflect God’s character in your interactions with others? Look for practical ways to show kindness to someone today, especially to those who may be difficult to love.

Remember, our pursuit of godliness isn’t about earning God’s favor, but about growing in our relationship with Him and becoming more like Christ.
