Matthew 7:13-14
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Matthew 7:13-14
Jesus spoke of a narrow gate that leads to life, a difficult yet rewarding path, and still many choose the broad and easy way leading to destruction. Our society has never been this divided and the exclusivity of Christ can seem harsh. Yet, we’re reminded that salvation is a gift of grace through faith, not of works. It’s God’s love and mercy that brings people to the narrow gate.
It would be beneficial to take some time today to meditate on the precious gift of salvation. How has God’s grace transformed your life? Then commit to how you can share this truth with others, not with arrogance, but with humility and love, recognizing that we are all recipients of undeserved mercy.
