2 Peter 3:12-14
The apocalyptic words of Peter reminds us of the temporary and fragile nature of this world, coupled with the promise of what will come after. This eternal perspective should shape our present reality. We look at things around us and realize that it’s God who holds ALL things in His hands and when He lets go, disaster will follow.
So how does this reality shape your daily decisions and priorities? Do they align with this eternal view? Are there areas where temporary things have crowded in and taken over? How might your actions change if you consistently lived with eternity in mind? What if we lived each day in light of His coming? Let this eternal hope inspire you to live with purpose, integrity, and love in all you do.
