2 Peter 3:17-18

You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 3:17-18

As you come to the end of this epistle, Peter’s final exhortation is a call to continual spiritual growth. In a world that often values instant gratification, the Christian life is one of steady, persistent growth in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Let these verses bring you to your own spiritual journey – where have you seen growth, and where do you feel stagnant? And be encouraged to know that growth often happens in those small, daily choices to seek God and bring Him into your moment-by-moment activities and obligations. Today, commit to one specific action that will help you grow in your understanding and experience of God’s grace.
