2 Peter 1:2-4
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter 1:2-4
Often when you get to the end of something, it’s good to reflect on how things started. Peter opens his letter by reminding believers of the incredible resources God has given us for life and godliness. When we feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges, we can easily forget the power and promises available to us in Christ.
So go back to the beginning and take some time to recount God’s faithfulness in your life. How has He provided for you, protected you, or guided you in the past? Let these memories strengthen your faith for the challenges you face today. As you participate in the divine nature through Christ, you can grow in godly character and becoming more effective and fruitful in your knowledge of Jesus Christ.
