Mark 6:38, 41-42

Mark 6:38, 41-42

But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.” … And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. So they all ate and were filled.

Mark 6:38, 41-42

The feeding of the 5,000 demonstrates God’s ability to take our meager offerings and multiply them beyond our imagination. The disciples saw only scarcity—five loaves and two fish—but Jesus saw an opportunity for a miracle. Where in your life are you focusing on what you lack rather than what God can do with what you have? Offer your “five loaves and two fish” to God today, whether it’s your time, talents, or resources. Trust that in His hands, little becomes much.

If your life is being broken in the hands of God, it may be because He’s desiring to feed the multitude through the broken pieces of your life. Just keep trusting your brokenness to Him. Then ask God to help you see opportunities where you once saw limitations, and to use you as a channel of His abundance to others.
