Mark 7:33-34
And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue. Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”
Before healing the deaf man, Jesus looked up to heaven. Even in the midst of busy ministry, He maintained connection with the Father. This serves as a powerful reminder for us to stay connected to our source of strength and guidance. In the busyness of your day, how can you cultivate a habit of “looking to heaven”? Practice pausing throughout your day to acknowledge God’s presence and seek His guidance, even in small tasks.
