Psalm 107:19-22

Psalm 107:19-22

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing.

Psalm 107:19-22

In the healing of the deaf mute, Jesus spoke a single word – “Ephphatha” (be opened) – and the man was healed. God’s word has the power to transform our lives, opening what was closed and healing what was broken.

Take some time today and examine if there are areas of your life where you need to hear Jesus say “be opened”? It could be a closed mind, a hardened heart, or blocked opportunities. Spend time meditating on Scripture today, allowing God’s word to speak directly into your situation.
