Sports Ministry
Here at Morningstar Christian Chapel, one of the many ways we love, serve, and model Christ in the community around us is through our Sports Ministry. Sports are huge here in sunny Southern California, and thousands of our neighbors participate in them, all the while having never met Jesus. We believe that sports are created by God, for the Glory of God; and that we as Christians can play them unto His Glory.
MCC Sports to Glorify Christ
1. Providing a discipleship opportunity for Christians outside of the Church campus.
2. Providing an evangelism opportunity for Christians as they model Christ amongst the lost.
3. Provide an exercise opportunity for Christians as they use their bodies for Christ’s glory in competition.
Get Involved!
Listen for an announcement, look for a flyer, speak with someone at the Information Counter about how to get involved, or send an email to the Sports Director using the “Get Involved” form on the right.
All players must submit a “Morningstar Sports Survey & Agreement” prior to playing (see below).
Participation Payment
All players must make full payment prior to playing on any sports team. Links for payment found below. You may also pay at the church office, directly to your coach, or to the Sports Director.
