How Much More…
Our “How Much More” food ministry began in May of 2001. The outreaches were scheduled to be held on the last Tuesday of each month. At that first outreach we had one person show up, Michelle, she received food for her, her husband who was out of work, and their 3 children. The decision was made that day to expand the ministry to every Tuesday. Since that first day we have had the opportunity to minister to over 1,900 families. Meeting the physical needs of many, and even more importantly, there have been many who have found new life through our Lord Jesus Christ, Michelle and her husband being among them.
Ministering to Families…
When the families arrive we receive their information and they are given a registration card and number. They then are able to come into the Mini Chapel where a Bible study is taught with Spanish translation and they are given an opportunity to receive Christ and prayer also. From there they come outside and pick up food. We also provide employment and housing information to those interested.
It is our desire to minister the love of Jesus to those in our community who are struggling, to help provide for their physical needs as well as to their deepest need, to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. That they may know, “How Much More” the Lord cares for them.
Food items can be dropped off in the Foyer during services or in the Church Office during office hours
