With the internet and social media being such a huge part of society, the above verses are even more important. Anybody can spout any point of view on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or whatever and have many people listen to those views. Tons of people put stuff online about the Bible, how do we know what to believe?
According to this section in Acts, we check it out for ourselves. What does the Bible say as opposed to what people are saying it says, that’s what we should be figuring out. That’s also why when you go to church, you should have a Bible in hand as the pastor teaches, to make sure he’s also teaching God’s Word.
Don’t be deceived by the world. Have your Bible open and hear what God actually says.
Teach me Your Word, O Lord,
