Acts 5:22-23
But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported, saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”
Acts 5:22-23
The morning after the apostles had been thrown into the common prison, officers were sent to bring them before the high priest and the rest of the religious leaders. And when the officers went into the jail to get them, there were no apostles in sight!
I wish I could have seen the looks on the officer’s faces. I’m not sure how the angel did it, but he got them all out, even when the guard was standing there and with the door shut. And this is a reminder to us that nothing is impossible for our God.
When we are in a situation that just looks so impossible, remember God easily let these apostles out of jail. It was no problem for God. So I am thinking that anything we are going through, when we look to our Father in heaven, no problem!
