Acts 6:1

Acts 6:1

Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution.

Acts 6:1

Growth often presents us with challenges that can feel like growing pains. In Acts 6, as the early church expanded rapidly, it faced internal friction. The tension between the Hebrews and the Hellenists serves as a reminder that growing in faith or numbers often births discomfort and misunderstanding. Reflect on areas in your own life where growth has led to challenges. Are you looking for a “perfect” church or community?

Remember, God uses our imperfections and tensions to mature us. Embrace these as opportunities for strengthening your faith and learning to lean on God’s wisdom to resolve disputes.
