Ephesians 6:10-12

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:10-12

Have you noticed how evil things are getting around us? But we have hope because we follow one Who is greater. When Jesus confronted and cast out an unclean spirit, He demonstrated His authority over the forces of darkness. As followers of Christ, we too are engaged in spiritual warfare. However, we don’t fight in our own strength, but in the power of Christ who lives in us. 

Put on the full armor of God today. Identify areas in your life or community where spiritual darkness seems prevalent. How can you stand firm in Christ’s authority and bring His light into those situations? And always keep in mind, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
