Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12
As sure as the Lord is coming back, there will always be another spiritual battle to fight and another hill that we must decide to die on or not. But there is a fine line between fighting the good fight and sticking our noses into places that belong to God. Our battles on earth are not with people or institutions, but with the enemy who is behind all the evil that we see. Our greatest weapon is the truth about God and not how many rounds of ammunition we can carry. The scriptures tell us how we are to arm ourselves and defend ourselves as well as lead a full-frontal assault on the enemies plans.
It’s easy to get caught up in the news or social media but remember, the same God who created everything out of nothing is on our side. The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob is the God that is willing to do the battle for us because the battle does indeed belong to the Lord. Don’t let the world influence you into getting involved in physical and verbal wars while forgetting that Ephesians 6:13-18 outlines our battle gear. And all of that gear is given by God, and it is nothing that we can build apart from Him. If we start our days on our knees, we will have already begun the march forward. From there, God will go before us. Rest in Him and Him alone.
