Ephesians 6:15-16

And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 

Ephesians 6:15-16 

The gospel brings peace – peace with God and the peace of God. As we “shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace,” we’re equipped to stand firm and move forward in our spiritual journey. Reflect on how the gospel has brought peace to your life. Are you allowing this peace to govern your heart in the midst of life’s storms? 

Alongside this, we’re given the shield of faith to extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy. Faith isn’t just belief; it’s active trust in God’s character and promises. What “fiery darts” are you facing today? How can you raise your shield of faith against them? 

Remember, your faith is grounded in a faithful God who has never failed. Let this truth embolden your faith today.
