Ephesians 6:15-16

Having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

Ephesians 6:15-16

The gospel brings peace – peace with God and the peace of God. As we “shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace,” we’re equipped to stand firm and move forward in our spiritual journey. So how has the gospel brought peace to your life. Are you allowing this peace to govern your heart in the midst of life’s storms? 

Then from that place of peace, we’re also given protection with the shield of faith that can extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy. Faith isn’t just belief; it’s active trust in God’s character and promises. You may be facing those “fiery darts” in your life, even today. So how can you raise your shield of faith against them? By remembering that your faith is grounded in a faithful God who has never failed. So, as you walk in peace of the Gospel let it remind you of your God-given faith.
