Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23

Plants don’t grow very well when they’re out of control. They need to be trimmed and pruned to cut out the unfruitful branches. Self-control and perseverance are crucial qualities for spiritual growth. Can you identify an area in your life where you struggle with self-control? Surrender it to God, acknowledging that true self-control comes through the power of the Holy Spirit. Consider the challenges you’re facing right now. How can you view them as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles? Then ask God for the strength to persevere, remembering that He is working all things for your good and His glory.
