For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

Hebrews 10:14

If we’ve given our heart to Jesus as Lord and Savior, if we’ve been washed of our sins by the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ, how do you think God views us now as we eagerly wait for His soon return?  This verse gives us a hopeful and mind-blowing answer.  God has set us apart from the world with this promise of sanctification in perfect redemption, which is the birthright of every true believer in Christ.  

So, here’s the bottom line: already in God’s mind we are as perfect as His Son.  When our Heavenly Father looks at us, He sees the finished work of Jesus.  Let that truth bolster your “God esteem” today and rest in His promise.
