But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11 is a great example of the pillars of our faith. It is filled with the stories of faithful men and women who were faithful to God’s leading, many times not even living to see their works bear fruit (Hebrews 11:13).
It’s easy for us to read these verses and be amazed at the faith of these people and maybe even wonder how we would have responded if we were there in those situations. However, we need to know that God has called us today to have faith just as those did in Hebrews 11. Understanding that their faith wasn’t limited to one particular instance or event, but it was meant to be part of who they were and how they lived every day of their lives.
The life that you have been given by God is meant to be lived by faith, trusting Him in every situation that comes your way, that is the life that Jesus died for. So go out today walking in faith, for “without faith it is impossible to please God.”
