Hebrews 5:1-2

For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.  He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness.

Have you prayed for your pastors and spiritual leaders today?  If you haven’t, it’s certainly a good thing to add to your prayer list.  God has appointed men to lead us in spiritual matters, counsel us in day-to-day challenges and show us the truth of God and His love through His Word.  

But pastors and leaders are human too and are subject to the same weaknesses as all of us. So, take some time today and thank the Lord for those He has put in place, here on earth, to watch over you and ask the Lord to guide, direct, and protect them as they answer the call He has put on their lives.
