Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Throughout the Bible, we see God reassuring His people. Here God, through the prophet Isaiah, reminds the people of Israel, and us, not to be afraid and that He is there to help us. Like Joshua facing the daunting task of leading Israel, we often encounter situations that test our courage.  Maybe we find ourselves wondering if there will be enough money in our checking account to pay the bills at the end of the month. Or perhaps there are issues at home or at work we just can’t seem to find a solution to. If you are like me, it is easy sometimes to get dismayed and fearful.  Yet God reminds us He is close by and that He will help and hold us up!

Are you facing some challenge today? You are not alone, we all face challenges. Maybe God is calling you to step out in faith; to grab hold of and stand on His promises. Let’s all remember and meditate on this wonderful promise in Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you.”
